BTC Bitcoin is expected to challenge new highs and test the $100,000 mark
With widespread market expectations that Bitcoin will rebound strongly in the next few weeks, this leading cryptocurrency is expected to hit the $100,000 mark again before the U.S. midterm elections. Well-known cryptocurrency trader Will Meade pointed out that the pattern formed on the Bitcoin daily chart is highly similar to the classic technical analysis structure, indicating a further upward trend.
Do key patterns signal a surge in prices?
Mead described Bitcoin's current price structure as a typical "high and tight flag," which fundamentally means a continuation of the bullish trend. In technical analysis, this pattern usually appears after a large price increase, and prices fluctuate within a narrow horizontal range. The market generally expects that once the consolidation ends, prices will usher in a new upward breakthrough.
Bitcoin is expected to continue to maintain this level trajectory in late September, and a potential breakthrough may occur in October. If this scenario occurs, Bitcoin will have about a six-week window to reach its $100,000 target. The upcoming federal midterm elections in the United States are scheduled for November 3, 2026.
