However, the Supertrend on the 4-hour chart remains bearish, with its resistance line at $2,526.61. Ethereum must close above this level for the indicator to turn in favor of buyers. A successful breakthrough in the supertrend will make the daily Bollinger Band resistance level of US$2549 accessible. Since the two levels are only about $23 apart, the $2527 to $2550 region represents a wider resistance band rather than a single precise price.
Support on the 4-hour chart has risen to about $2442. A break below that level would weaken the structure of higher lows and once again expose the $2400 to $2385 area.
Liquidation map points to the US$2,630 - 2,650 range
CoinGlass's weekly liquidation heat map shows that there are multiple leverage clusters around the current price of Ethereum. Recent liquidity has been concentrated between $2490 and $2520, which is consistent with ETH's current trading area. Greater concentration occurs around $2630 and $2650 above the price, with the latter forming the brightest strip on the chart.
Liquidation heat charts indicate where leveraged positions may face forced liquidations, but do not predict that prices will reach these levels. If ETH breaks through $2550, the clusters above may increase volatility due to pressure on short positions. Liquidity also appears below the market around $2440 and $2410. These areas overlap with the super-trend support of the 4-hour chart and the broader base formed by the past few sessions.
