BTC Greece completes the first batch of registrations of cryptographic asset service providers in accordance with the EU MiCA framework
Greece has completed the first batch of registrations of cryptographic asset service providers (CASPs) in accordance with the EU Cryptographic Asset Markets (MiCA) framework. This marks a concrete and early step in the country's implementation of MiCA's digital asset business regulation.
Key information about Greece's first MiCA registrations
This registration represents Greece's formal recognition of Cryptographic Asset Service Providers (CASPs) in accordance with the EU's comprehensive digital asset regulatory framework-MiCA. CASP refers to any institution that provides services such as custody, trading or transfer of crypto assets on behalf of customers. MiCA requires such institutions to register with or seek authorization from national authorities before they can legally operate within the EU.
Greece has joined the ranks of member states handling MiCA registrations, further expanding the influence of the euro zone's regulated crypto infrastructure. At the same time, Greece's traditional financial markets are moving in a similar direction: the country's stock exchange recently adopted on-chain technology through a partnership with Sui, demonstrating a wider range of institutional participation in distributed ledger infrastructure.
According to MiCA regulations, CASP registration obtained in any EU member state can serve as a "passport" to operate throughout the EU. This clause makes the significance of Greece's registration not limited to domestic encryption activities, but also has the value of cross-border operations.

具体到比特币，MiCA的影响范围相较于许多山寨币更为有限。在MiCA框架下，比特币被归类为既非资产参考代币也非电子货币代币的加密资产，因此该框架中最严格的稳定币条款不适用于BTC。对比特币托管和交易最重要的规则是规范CASP本身的规则，包括保管要求和执行标准。在MiCA下对比特币进行受监管的托管，有望逐渐吸引更多需要持牌对手方的机构投资者，这一动态与比特币的网络基本面相辅相成：网络继续按照目标十分钟的间隔处理区块，每2016个区块调整一次难度，无论单一国家的监管边界如何扩展，都能保持这一节奏。
