Sage Capital Management has established a cooperation with OpenPayd to expand fiat payment infrastructure
Sage Capital Management, a well-known integrated financial infrastructure company, has entered into a partnership with OpenPayd, a popular digital financial infrastructure entity. This cooperation aims to expand capabilities related to fiat payments to benefit institutional customers using digital asset services.
According to Sage Capital's official press release, the partnership will launch U.S. dollars (USD), British pounds (GBP) and euros (EUR) as new payment options on its network. The focus of this move is to help institutional users more effectively transfer funds between digital assets and traditional currencies.
Deepening infrastructure and increasing service flexibility
Sage Capital's partnership with OpenPayd is committed to introducing expanded infrastructure to enhance the ability to provide secure, flexible and fast payment services to mature market participants. Through this integration, Sage Capital Management can access OpenPayd's financial infrastructure and publish virtual international banking accounts (vIBANs) for clients.
These dedicated accounts are designed to optimize tracking capabilities for outgoing and incoming payments and simplify the reconciliation process. At the same time, this move also supports rapid settlement between users and counterparties, meeting the urgent operational needs of institutions that handle large-scale digital asset transfers.
By incorporating a diverse payment network, Sage Capital Management is able to facilitate U.S. dollar transfers via SWIFT, sterling transactions via SWIFT and Faster Payments, and euro payments via SEPA. This multi-channel framework gives customers greater flexibility when collecting payments and settling funds with liquidity providers.
Enhance digital asset payment options for institutional users
This synergy reduces the need for institutional customers to rely on only a single payment corridor or currency when managing digital asset activities. By integrating multiple payment channels and currencies, Sage Capital Management allows organizations to choose payment paths based on their own settlement and financing needs. Therefore, this integration provides comprehensive options for entities that transfer funds between digital assets and fiat markets.
While discussing the initiative, Lux Thiagarajah, chief commercial officer of OpenPayd, said: "Sage Capital Management is streamlining the way institutions enter the digital asset market, and our role is to provide fiat connectivity that supports this proposition."
Nathan Sage, CEO of Sage Capital Management, expressed the same enthusiasm, saying: "Our partnership with OpenPayd allows us to meet the highest standards of transparency and regulatory compliance requirements."
In view of this, this integration combines mortgage lending, technology, liquidity acquisition and banking into the institutional digital asset network. Overall, the broader fiat connection between the two companies adds an additional layer of infrastructure and provides professional users with more options in managing and settling payments when participating in the global digital asset market.
