韩国韩亚银行完成首笔基于Euroclear区块链基础设施的数字债券发行

据韩联社9月21日报道，韩国韩亚银行已完成该国首笔直接在Euroclear区块链基础设施上运行的数字债券发行。该债券为期限五年、面值1亿美元的外币债券。韩联社报道称，韩亚银行利用Euroclear的“数字金融市场基础设施”平台，在分布式账本网络上处理了该债券的发行、登记和结算工作。

结算时间压缩至单日

据韩联社报道，在分布式账本上处理该债券，将结算时间从标准的三到五个工作日缩短至当天完成。这种效率提升同时适用于债券分配和付款结算，而在传统基础设施下，这两者通常是分步进行的。

此外，该债券已与Euroclear现有的全球结算网络集成。据韩联社报道，投资者可以通过其现有账户和交易系统交易该债券，无需采用新的基础设施。

Euroclear的数字债券业绩记录

Euroclear于2023年10月推出了其“数字证券发行”服务。该服务下的首笔交易是由世界银行下属贷款机构——国际复兴开发银行发行的1亿欧元（当时约合1.06亿美元）数字债券。该债券期限为三年，在卢森堡证券交易所上市，并结构化设计用于为可持续发展项目筹集资金。

韩亚银行也是韩国银行新推出的全天候韩元结算试点项目的四家参与银行之一，该项目于9月21日同日发布。作为韩国更新金融市场基础设施的更广泛努力的一部分，该计划目标是在2027年1月前实现全面运营。
