Fusemachines uses IBM technology to expand AI research
IBM shares fell 2.22% to close at $220.50, after falling above $225 in the course of trading. Fusemachines gain low-cost access to the modulAIre-based IBM Fusion infrastructure. The added computing power supports faster testing and development of AI Twin systems. The IBM Fusion platform supports model evaluation, optimization, storage, and reasoning workloads. Fusemachines plans to extend its progress in the AI Twin space to its enterprise-level AI product portfolio.
IBM shares fell 2.22% to close at US$220.50, with the intraday decline continuing to widen from the earlier above US$225. At the same time, Fusemachines has expanded its AI development capabilities with an infrastructure built around IBM Fusion technology. The move consolidates IBM Fusion's role in enterprise AI development, although IBM's share price remains under pressure.
IBM shares fell, extending intraday decline
IBM shares traded at US$220.50 during the session, a drop of 2.22%. The stock traded above $225 earlier in the session, but gradually fell as time went on. However, the decline comes with the latest developments in enterprise AI infrastructure involving IBM technology.
