TON Telegram splits its encryption services: Gram is responsible for daily payments, Walt focuses on investment transactions.
Telegram is dividing its encryption services into two areas: "daily payments" and "advanced investment". The original Wallet feature was officially renamed Walt, and the Gram Wallet took over the original entrance location in the Telegram settings.
Gram and Walt perform their own duties
According to Walt's announcement on the X platform, existing products already support more than 300 assets and are equipped with trading and financial tools. Andrew Rogozov, founder and CEO of The Open Platform and Walt, said that this rebranding is to accommodate this expansion need.
Gram Wallet will focus on handling daily activities, including holding Gram tokens and transferring funds between Telegram users. In addition, users can also use the wallet to send gifts, purchase Stars, and interact with various applications within Telegram. In short, Gram aims to provide a simpler service experience.
Walt serves users seeking to trade, invest, and transfer assets between different blockchain networks. Users can recharge their Gram wallets through Walt, connecting a wider range of financial services with daily payment scenarios.
Seamless transition without migration
随着品牌名称、标志及社交媒体账号的全面更新，现有客户无需进行任何数据迁移操作。他们的资金、设置及账户信息在过渡期间将保持完整无损。原先用于购买 Toncoin 和比特币的 Telegram 机器人，如今已发展为拥有数百万用户、支持数百种资产的综合性平台。

Walt 的未来规划：实体卡与对话式交易工具

Rogozov 指出，这些工具还将辅助用户执行永续合约交易。不过，Walt 尚未公布这些旨在扩展其投资服务的新功能的具体上线日期。

Gram 的目标是通过平台内更简单的支付和转账功能，向更多 Telegram 用户普及加密货币概念。Rogozov 预计，随着用户需求的增长，部分用户将逐步探索 Walt 的高级产品。
此次品牌重塑为两款产品赋予了明确的角色定位：Gram 负责处理常规的日常活动，而 Walt 则承载更广泛的加密金融服务。
