BNB The largest enterprise-level BNB treasury operator changed its name: CEA Industries officially transformed into BNB Standard Corporation
CEA Industries Inc, which owns the world's largest enterprise-level BNB (Binancoin) treasury. (Nasdaq: BNC) recently announced that the company will use a new name: BNB Standard Corporation. This change only involves the company name, and the company's stock code remains BNC.
This new name was determined after a BNB community consultation vote conducted on Platform X (formerly Twitter). With the official launch of the rebranding on Tuesday, September 29, the company hopes to bid farewell to the old title that has made headlines frequently due to governance disputes since the end of 2025.
Origin of the name "BNB Standard"
The company formerly known as CEA Industries chose "BNB Standard" with the highest number of votes from among the four candidate names. During the five-day voting process,"BNB Standard" received 5,799 consultation votes, accounting for approximately 47% of the total votes.
Interim President Alex Odagiu said: "As far as we know, very few listed companies ask the community for help in choosing a company name. We think more companies should do this." He added in the statement: "The reasons in the reply are as valuable as the ballot itself."
Carly E., Chairman of the Board of Directors Howard also emphasized the importance of community participation, pointing out that the new name "reflects the company's current state of development."
The practical impact of rebranding
除了名称变更和新标志、视觉识别系统的更新外，当CEA Industries正式以BNB Standard的身份运营时，预计不会有其他重大变化。
- 股票交易：普通股继续在纳斯达克资本市场以BNC代码交易。
- 权证与编号：BNCWW和BNCWZ权证保持不变，CUSIP号码亦未更改。
- 股东权益：现有股票证书继续有效，持有人无需进行任何兑换或置换操作。
根据该公司2027财年第一季度的财报数据，截至2026年7月31日，BNC持有515,544枚BNB代币，价值约3.023亿美元。该季度净亏损为1,140万美元，主要归因于持仓资产的1,530万美元未实现减值。
告别CEA Industries时代的纷争
这次毫无争议的重组对于一家在2026年至今经历剧烈波动的公司而言，是一个令人欢迎的转变。
2025年8月，资产管理者10X Capital促成了一笔约5亿美元的私募交易，使这家尼古丁电子烟制造商转型为BNB金库公司。随后，10X Capital成为YZi Labs（前身为Binance Labs，与CZ有关联）发起激进行动的靶子。
尽管双方在2026年6月23日通过合作协议缓和了争端，但此前双方经历了多轮新闻稿交锋、未披露股权归属指控，以及BNC对10X Capital提起的诉讼——BNC寻求废除一份可能产生超过1亿美元终止条款的管理协议。
此后，YZi撤回了其同意征询程序，董事会新增了Ella Zhang、Odagiu和Matthew Roszak为董事，董事人数扩展至六人。截至目前，Odagiu仍担任临时总裁职务。
David Namdar于2026年7月22日辞去首席执行官一职，董事会的首席执行官招聘工作仍在进行中。此外，根据与YZi达成的协议，BNC还需任命第七名独立董事，并解决针对10X Capital的 pending 诉讼。
