Chainlink develops bank connections using ledgers

As Swift develops the platform, Chainlink is building the connection between the banking system, transaction signature infrastructure, and the Swift blockchain ledgers. Its self-signed model uses the Chainlink runtime environment to coordinate workflows between these systems. Banks retain their authorization keys, approval procedures and security governance.

This arrangement allows institutions to manage their own tokenized deposit ledgers and smart contracts on Swift's shared infrastructure. Chainlink announced the work after it launched CCIP 2.0 earlier this month to support institutional digital asset transfers. These connections allow banks to access tokenized payment platforms.
