W Group becomes the sole investor and core strategic partner of the SignSplit Seed Round.

SignSplit is a technology startup focusing on the "signature data" platform, committed to allowing users to protect their own data, labor results and portrait rights. Users can choose to authorize or contribute these resources to the artificial intelligence (AI) field and receive corresponding compensation for their use. Today, W Group, a financial technology and technology ecosystem that serves more than 40 million users globally, announced that it has invested $400 million in seed financing in SignSplit PBC, a public interest company, at a valuation of $1 billion. W Group was the only investor in this round and became SignSplit's core strategic partner. This financing is a Series Seed, which not only provides financial support, but also includes a multi-year strategic cooperation plan.

From "whether the data is available" to "whether it can be proved that people have agreed"

The development of next-generation AI models, medical research and robotics all rely on real human data: including creative works, facial features, sounds, skills and daily experience. At the same time, with the implementation of the European Union's Artificial Intelligence Act and the rapidly expanding laws and proposals on privacy, biometrics, deep counterfeiting and digital portraits at the federal and state levels in the United States, the focus of industry standards is shifting from "Is data available?" Change it to "Can it be proved that the parties have agreed?"

SignSplit is the platform built to respond to this shift. On this platform, individuals and institutions can protect their data, work results and portraits, and authorize or contribute them to AI companies, researchers and media, thereby receiving reasonable compensation for use.

The founders defined "signature data" as the trust layer of AI.

Volodymyr Nosov, founder and president of W Group, said: "When people believe that every transaction is authorized, recorded and settled, digital finance develops at scale. The AI economy also needs to establish the same trust mechanism: proving that someone has consented, recording every use, and providing fair compensation for their contributions. SignSplit is building this standard. The scale of our investment reflects our firm belief that this market is just getting started and will become the core of all industries that rely on human data."

Alessandro Monterosso, co-founder and CEO of SignSplit, pointed out: "SignSplit provides solutions for a world where the boundaries between human experience and technology are increasingly blurred. As AI becomes more deeply integrated into the real world, human knowledge, creativity, skills and identity will be closely linked to the evolution of technology and the way it interacts with the world around it. We believe that the use of SignSplit and signature data will serve as a bridge connecting the two, achieving a balance between human contribution and protection, participation and compensation while advancing technology."
