ETH 以太坊名称服务（ENS）提交ENSv2升级提案
以太坊名称服务（Ethereum Name Service，简称ENS）是一个去中心化身份协议，允许用户注册和管理以“.eth”结尾的可读域名。目前，ENS正寻求其去中心化自治组织（DAO）的批准，以便在以太坊主网上部署名为“ENSv2”的重大命名系统升级。
ENSv2引入灵活的注册表架构
ENS创始人Nick Johnson提交了一份可执行的草案提案，详细概述了ENSv2的激活步骤。该提案请求社区批准，在现有ENS注册商处暂停新的域名注册，同时允许当前域名所有者继续无中断地续期其“.eth”域名。
ENSv2旨在通过重新设计的注册表架构增强协议功能，扩展用户在域名管理和权限设置方面的灵活性。此次更新还包括计划：在成功部署后，ENS Labs将其对升级合约的剩余管理权移交给ENS DAO。
名词解释：ENS DAO（去中心化自治组织）是由代币持有者组成的自我治理社区，负责通过链上投票机制为以太坊名称服务做出关键协议升级和决策。
过渡期间的临时注册暂停
转向新协议需要将所有新的“.eth”注册迁移至ENSv2，前提是域名记录已完成迁移。Johnson警告称，在迁移最终确定期间，旧系统和新系统将短暂停止接受新注册，预计持续数小时。
Johnson emphasized, “During the transition period, users will not be able to register new domain names within a few hours. However, existing domain owners can renew their domains without any interruptions.”
Domain holders of the current “.eth” domains do not need to migrate immediately, as their domains will continue to function normally. ENS Labs has reserved these names in the updated system, providing users with flexibility to decide when to migrate their domains.
The proposal needs to be voted on by the DAO chain.
The proposal for activating ENSv2 is still in draft form. Before implementation, it must go through the DAO chain voting process, which is the main decision-making mechanism for changes to the ENS protocol.
According to the protocol governance rules, a proposal can be approved if at least 1% of voters participate during the seven-day voting period (i.e., 1 million ENS votes) and it receives majority approval. If the proposal is approved, the upgrade will only take effect after a minimum of two days of time lock. As of now, ENS has not announced the specific voting date for this proposal.
This proposal ensures that existing “.eth” domains remain valid, and domain owners are not forced to migrate immediately, as all active domains have been reserved in ENSv2.
