HBAR Hedera Donates Cross-Ledger Protocol CLPR to the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust to Promote Bridgeless Interoperability
On September 24, Hedera announced that it would contribute the Bridgeless Cross-Ledger Protocol ("CLPR") it is developing to the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust (LFDT) and launch it as a new laboratory. The move transforms the interoperability project into an open source code base and opens a three-phase early adopter program for financial institutions, fintech companies, asset issuers and liquidity providers.
From internal protocol to open source laboratory
As a laboratory owned by LFDT, CLPR's code has been migrated to the foundation's GitHub repository. Developers can review code, suggest use cases, and participate in contributions before formally becoming a top member of the project. The donation continues Hedera's previous work of donating its complete web code base to the foundation under the name "Project Hiero."
Leemon Baird, co-founder of Hedera and chief scientist of Hashgraph, said: "We just celebrated Hedera's two-year existence a few weeks ago when it joined the Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust as a founding senior member. Today's announcement that Hedera is once again contributing a new agreement to LFDT demonstrates our growing commitment and we very much look forward to seeing how developers explore the functional potential of CLPR."
Based on state proof rather than traditional bridging mechanisms

早期采用者计划聚焦机构用户
与此同时，Hashgraph启动了“跨账本早期采用者计划”。这是一项为期三个阶段的虚拟项目，重点涵盖跨境支付与途中外汇交易、跨账本结算以及抵押品流动性提升等场景。入选参与者将获得由Hashgraph托管的测试网环境访问权限，并在专属集成专家的协助下，通过支持CLPR的应用层界面移动真实的测试资产。
Linux Foundation去中心化技术总经理Daniela Barbosa指出：“跨账本互操作性是解锁网络与平台间价值流动的关键所在。”
Hedera于9月22日的HederaCon大会上首次公开了CLPR，而当前的早期采用者计划正是迈向全面市场发布的重要一步。
