Week 39 Encrypted Airdrop: Countdown to Deadline

There is a final date this week, with only four days left. Users who hold Beldex or Humanity on the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken have automatically received the corresponding replacement token through airdrops. The withdrawal deadline for these tokens is September 25, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. After that, the exchange will liquidate the remaining part itself, and its announcement pointed out that the liquidation proceeds may be less than it or even zero.

There is another deadline this week, one missing from the previous list and more severe than any exchange deadline. Sonic will destroy approximately 32.69 million unclaimed Season 1 and Season 2 S tokens on October 15, 2026. These tokens will be destroyed on the chain, not just withheld, and destruction can be triggered at any address thereafter. Users with older Sonic allocations have about three weeks left.

This overview lists airdrops that are open at the pickup window or have a fixed date this week. All data comes from the sources at the link, and the search time is September 21, 2026. If the project has not announced an end date, make it clear; estimated deadline is not included here. For last week's status, please refer to our article on Week 38 airdrops.

Deadline List

1. Kraken上的Beldex和Humanity：距离空投过期仅剩四天

2. Sonic (S)：3269万枚代币将于10月15日被销毁

Those who want a quiet extension, as is common in many pickup portals, are not expected to be provided in the contract.

Important background information: Starting from April 18, 2026 , there will be no penalty for receiving money, and there will be a deduction before then. Those who wait out of fear of punishment have waited months in vain. Collection is made through the project's portal my.soniclabs.com/airdrop, and for positions held in the form of NFT, through the market established for this purpose. An announcement of all details is located on the Sonic Labs blog.

Explanation on expectations: After a year and a half, so many tokens are still unclaimed. This is normal rather than a user negligence. A large portion of each allocation is never collected because wallets are forgotten, amounts are small, or announcements go unnoticed. If you were active on Sonic in 2024 or 2025, it's time to check the portal now (September instead of October).

3. Grass (Phase 2): The only window with a clear deadline

Grass starts distributing its Phase 2 rewards from July 22, 2026 and provides a six-month window for collection: until January 22, 2027 . The part that is not received at that time will expire and belong to the project according to the project regulations. This makes Grass the counterpart of the three entries below, with an end date from the beginning.

Eligible wallets are available from October 14, 2024 to June 8, 2026 Users who contributed bandwidth between (eras 1 to 19) and linked to Solana wallets in Phase 2. You can see the allocation amount after logging in to the dashboard; there is no need to apply separately. Two months have passed since six months, and there are still four months left.

The only legal location for inspection and collection is the dashboard on app. grassroots. The project made it clear that it never proactively contacted anyone, nor did it ask for mnemonic words or private keys. These are the patterns that operate around each major airdrop.

4. GRVT: Each batch is 30 days, and the calendar only exists in your account.

The derivatives exchange GRVT held a token generation event on July 30, 2026 , and a total of 280 million GRVTs were distributed. Distribution is carried out over twelve months, and each unlocked batch has a 30-day collection window. Once it expires, the batch will be permanently lost and will not be transferred to the next batch according to project regulations.

This is the trickiest item on the list because there is no published unlocking timetable. When the help page was retrieved again this week, it still didn't have a date for the next batch. For allocations and timing, items only refer to the rewards portal of your personal account. Therefore, calendars are individual and there is no public place to check.

There is another difference that is easy to miss: Only the first batch due will be automatically paid, and only for users registered before July 17, 2026. According to the wording of the help page, anyone who registers later must personally collect each Batch, each time within 30 days. Practical advice: Take a look at the rewards portal, enter the end date given therein into your calendar, and set reminders for the previous few days.

5. Plume and dappOS: Open, but unannounced end dates

Two entries remain unchanged from previous weeks, and both have the same issues. In Plume(Season 2), the points program ends on March 31, 2026, and registration ends on May 27, 2026 ; those who miss out will be excluded and cannot be compensated. Collection has been running through the official portal since the end of May, and Plume never mentioned an end date. Secondary reports circulated a deadline of about three months that would end at the end of August. This number does not come from the project, we mention it here only because it is circulating and clearly does not serve as a deadline.

In terms of dappOS, phase 2 will be running from August 11, 2026 , and eligible wallets can receive transferable DOS. Similarly, the project has so far not announced an end date for any phase. The only correct route is the collection portal on the project domain name.

The conclusion of both is the same and more important than any assessment of the value of the token: The fact that no end date for collection is announced does not mean that there is a time limit.

It will be closed without further notice. Anyone who is eligible should receive it, not wait.

Items not included and reasons

Airdrops are not defined as duty-free gifts. According to Article 22 (3) of the German Income Tax Law, whether a distribution must be regarded as other income mainly depends on whether you provide a return, which is also the limit defined by the still authoritative circular from the German Federal Ministry of Finance on March 6, 2025. Two cases this week illustrate why this is more than just theory. In the Kraken case, the inflow of substitute tokens in July and subsequent withdrawals or sales must be treated separately, and the exchange's mandatory clearing is a transaction that you must record even though you did not trigger it. In Sonic's case, the problem is reversed: the destruction of unclaimed tokens is neither a sale nor a loss you can declare.

Therefore, save the time, amount, market value, price source, transaction hash and participation terms at the moment of collection. Conclusion

There were two tasks and three observation points in Week 39. The first task is September 25 at 14:00 UTC: Anyone holding Beldex or Humanity in Kraken has had alternative tokens in their account for a long time and has four days to withdraw money, which will need to be done twice if both tokens are affected. After that, the exchange decided to liquidate, saying that the return might be negligible or even zero.
