Gerla sees $500 as a potential target price, but warns that the exact time to reach this level remains uncertain and depends on continued positive market momentum and further confirmation of price behavior.
Derivatives Activity and Key Prices
SOL opened at about $116.80, hitting an intraday high of $119.15. The token established support around $108 in recent weekend trading and showed bullish technical signals. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) was at 65.58 and was trending upward, and the Chaikin Fund Flow Indicator reached 0.30, indicating strong buying interest above the neutral zone.
Derivatives markets also reflect this strength. Trading volume surged 88.78% to US$13.28 billion, and open interest increased 10% to US$7.33 billion. Options trading volume surged 111% to $37.08 million, reflecting active short-term speculation. Analysts pointed to $120 as the current direct resistance level. If the four-hour K-line closes firmly above this level, it may verify the upward trend and look towards subsequent resistance levels of $125 and $130. Lower support is at $114 and $110.
Rapid changes in the spot and derivatives markets have sparked close attention to shifts in market sentiment. Especially in the Meme Token market, technical triggers and investor positions can amplify price fluctuations. He believes that Ethereum's valuation relies heavily on its role in stablecoin transactions and lending agreements, and points out that at current levels, ETH's overall value capture mechanism is unclear.
Market capitalization data shows that Solana currently has a market capitalization of approximately US$58 billion, while Ethereum is US$293 billion. To achieve a comeback, SOL needs to grow approximately fivefold from its current market value. In terms of agreement revenue, according to the latest data from DefiLlama, Solana has collected US$23 million in fees in the past 30 days, ranking fourth; while Ethereum has revenue of US$12.6 million, ranking sixth.
