Cryptocurrency gainers: Bitcoin cash led the gains, with an increase of 35%, and Bitcoin SV and LayerZero also recorded double-digit growth.

Bitcoin trading prices remained around US$87,000. As the total market value of the crypto market climbed to approximately US$2.93 trillion, the overall market continued to recover, with several altcoins rising significantly. Bitcoin cash rose as CME plans to launch BCH futures

Bitcoin cash has been one of the strongest performing targets among large market cap currencies. BCH is currently trading at about $358, and CoinMarketCap data shows an increase of about 33.5% in the past 24 hours. The token closed at US$345.04 on September 22, with a single-session increase of 29.09% on the day, compared with US$267.29 the previous day. As the market accelerated, BCH's trading activity also increased sharply, with trading volume surging by more than 295%.

The rise came against the backdrop of Anchorage Digital's selection of LayerZero as its interoperability partner for stablecoin issuance. Tether's USAT became the first stablecoin issued by Anchorage and using LayerZero's Omnichain Fundible Token standard to support transmission across multiple blockchain networks. LayerZero said the standard supports transfers between more than 170 blockchains and has processed approximately $280 billion in assets.

PENGU joins the rising wave of memin and NFT sectors

Pudgy Penguins 'PENGU tokens are also rising. CoinMarketCap data shows that the price of PENGU is approximately US$0.01059, an increase of more than 22% in 24 hours. PENGU first rose 14.32% on September 22, after rising 11.83% the day before, raising its price to about $0.01 from around $0.00786 on September 20.

Overall, the crypto market shows broader participation than Bitcoin. The total market value of the crypto market has recently returned to more than US$3 trillion. Although Bitcoin remains the main driver of recovery, altcoins are recording a larger proportion of gains.
