Dogecoin reappeared in the "golden cross", with bulls looking at the resistance level of US$0.106.
Dogecoin rose 3.88% to US$0.0962. Its daily chart recorded its first "Golden Cross" in 14 months, signaling that market momentum is improving. Dogecoin has begun to recover after a correction from its August low of $0.06. If buyers want to further hit the target prices of $0.12 and $0.16, they must first break through the resistance range of $0.098 and $0.106.
Technical analysis: The golden cross of the key moving average is established
With the appearance of the "golden cross" at the daily level of the first 14-month cycle, the resistance level of US$0.106 has re-entered the market view. According to transaction data, the 50-day moving average of the dog coin daily line has exceeded the 200-day moving average.
Currently, buyers face a price range of $0.095 to $0.098. Dogcoin needs to decisively break through this area before it can challenge the resistance level in September. Previously, Dogecoin's rise was blocked at $0.106 on September 22, making this level a key test point for this recovery. A successful breakthrough will open up space for prices to move towards US$0.12 or even US$0.16, and this crossing of the moving average is also accompanied by continued gains since the August low.
Dogecoin began to recover from a low of about US$0.06 in mid-August 2026, gradually regaining the multiple technical barriers that limited its price throughout the year. During this rebound, the price of Dogecoin exceeded the 50-day moving average that had long suppressed its gains. As early as the beginning of 2026 and May, although prices briefly stood on this indicator, they failed to form a sustained upward trend. In addition, before the formation of the "Golden Cross", the price of Dogecoin also stood on the 200-day moving average for the first time since October 2025.
Historical comparison and application ecosystem expansion
Looking back at history, the last time the daily "golden cross" of Dogecoin appeared in August 2025, and then hit a high of US$0.30 on September 13 of the same year. However, subsequent selling pressure erased most of the gains and caused Dogecoin to fall from US$0.255 to US$0.09 during the October 10 cryptocurrency market crash. That broader sell-off triggered a liquidation of about $20 billion and formed a "death cross" in November 2025. After months of falling prices, August's recovery finally helped the current two moving averages cross again.
At the same time, the application ecosystem of dogcoin is also expanding. DogeOS has launched a public test network that supports Ethereum-style transactions, lending and other dogcoin-based applications, making its use beyond traditional payments. The Metallicus project launched DogecoinVM, a dogcoin compatible ledger that connects Dogecoin with the Metal Blockchain network. The project claims that its system provides instant finality and is 300 times faster than the existing Dogecoin network.
Overall, Dogecoin's recovery is currently facing resistance of $0.098 and $0.106. Higher target prices still depend on whether buyers can effectively clear these obstacles and maintain sufficient upward momentum.
