Specifically, ADA is currently trading above its 20-day moving averages ($0.2417), 50-day moving averages ($0.2211), 100-day moving averages ($0.1971) and 200-day moving averages ($0.2132). Among them, the 20-day moving average is higher than the other three moving averages, and the 50-day moving average is also higher than the 200-day moving average, but the 100-day moving average is still lower than the 200-day moving average, making the ranking of the long-term moving average and the short-term moving average different. Current prices are about 11% above the 20-day moving average and about 26% above the 200-day moving average.
In addition, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator read 0.18. The indicator is calculated based on trading volume, and a reading greater than zero indicates positive buying pressure, further confirming a positive signal that prices have broken through recent ranges.
Analyst View: Key Resistance Levels and Confirmation Signals
Alex Marzell's View:
Analyst Alex Marzell pointed out that ADA had previously consolidated within a trading range of US$0.242 - 0.242 before a breakthrough occurred. He mentioned that one hourly K-line rose by 6%, and the trading volume was about 20 times the normal level in the range. Marzell pointed out in an October 5 post that after three rejections,$0.275 became resistance and used $0.27 as the dividing line for the short-term outlook.
"As long as $0.27 remains solid, I think $0.275 will be breached, opening up space to $0.28."
If the ADA loses US$0.27 support, Marzell believes US$0.264 will be a key position for retest. As the price surged to $0.2768 and then fell back to $0.2688, the price is now slightly below the threshold he set.
Crypto Patel's view:
Another analyst, Crypto Patel, focuses on the two-week chart and sees US$0.2887 as a bullish confirmation level. In an October 5 post, he said the ADA is currently up about 98% from its accumulation area, but its macro arguments remain unchanged. Patel asked for prices to continue to close above $0.2887 over a higher time frame as a confirmation signal. If this breakthrough is achieved, the potential target prices are US$0.50, US$1, US$2, US$3 and US$5 respectively. These predictions are all based on the above triggering conditions.
It is worth noting that Patel's threshold (US$0.2887) is about 7.4% higher than current prices, while Marzell's near-term target (US$0.28) is only about 4.2% higher, indicating that the two analysts have different timing points of focus.
Liquidation heat chart: There are a large number of clearing bands below
CoinGlass's 24-hour ADA clearing heat chart shows that the price rose from approximately US$0.247 to above US$0.275, and then pulled back towards around US$0.268. Below the latest price, there is a bright clearing band, around $0.266; another strong clearing band appears around $0.257, with another part concentrated in the $0.259 - 0.263 range.
Above the price, the heat chart shows that clearing bands also exist in the US$0.275 - 0.277 and US$0.279 - 0.281 areas. The cluster above overlaps with the $0.28 level in Marzell's outlook.
Other technical indicators and market trends
TradingView's 4-hour Supertrend indicator remains green at $0.2498, below ADA market prices. The average Directionality Index (ADX) reading on the same chart is 24.16, rising from its recent lows and approaching the common threshold of 25 for measuring trend strength. The latest 4-hour K-line showed a decline of 1.29%, although prices were still above the Supertrend line, indicating that the bullish indicator setting remained in effect during the pullback from highs.
Institutional funding trends:
U.S. funds have included ADA in their investment scope. Hashdex's NCIQ product page shows that as of October 5, Cardano's weight in its portfolio was 0.6%. The Nasdaq-listed product provides exposure to a basket of crypto assets on a market-weighted basis. As early as October 1, 2025, Hashdex announced that it would include ADA in the product along with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Stellar and XRP, and its positions would be rebalanced quarterly.
In addition, T. Rowe Price's Active Crypto ETF also listed ADA as a qualifying asset in a July 14, 2026 filing. The fund's code is TKNZ and the exchange is NYSE Arca.
Summary
For the current price structure, Marzell's $0.27 threshold is above the ADA's latest chart reading, while its $0.264 retest level is below it. Patel's broader bullish scenario relies on continued closing confirmations above $0.2887. Market participants should pay close attention to these key levels to judge subsequent trends.
