Bitcoin returns to the US$80,000 mark, Zcash leads the mainstream crypto market
As Bitcoin regains its footing at the US$80,000 mark, Bitcoin and major altcoins generally rose. Among them, Zcash (ZEC) performed the most eye-catching among existing cryptocurrencies, with an increase of 15.6%. In addition, Bitcastle Token and Metadium both achieved triple-digit growth, despite significant differences in transaction volume and market liquidity between the two.
Useless Coin recorded the strongest trading volume data among the listed gainers. Overall, small-cap tokens generally outperform large-cap assets in terms of percentage growth.
Mainstream assets rebound across the board
Prices in major cryptocurrency markets generally rose as buying forces strengthened. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 3.8% to close at US$80,908.65, with transaction volume of US$40.39 billion and a market value of US$1.62 trillion. Ethereum (ETH) rose 4.3% to $2,514.25, with trading volume of $17.01 billion and a market value of more than $306.83 billion.
Meanwhile, BNB (BNB) rose 3.6% to $721.69, supported by trading volume of $1.24 billion and a valuation of $96.10 billion. XRP (XRP) outperformed multiple large-cap assets, rising 5.6% to $1.45, with trading volume exceeding $4.03 billion.
Solana (SOL) rose 2.7% to $103.92, with a market cap of $60.85 billion, accompanied by $4.04 billion in trading volume. In addition, TRON (TRX) rose slightly 0.6% to US$0.3282, maintaining its market value above US$31.16 billion.
Hyperliquid (HYPE) rose 4.6% to $86.12;Dogecoin (DOGE) rose 4.8% to $0.08735. It is worth noting that Zcash (ZEC) led the lead among mainstream currencies with a 15.6% increase, rising to US$970.13, and trading volume on major exchanges reached US$1.04 billion.
Small-cap tokens achieved a triple-digit surge
Small-cryptocurrencies achieved a more significant percentage increase, but transaction volumes varied significantly, reflecting uneven liquidity between different exchanges. Bitcastle Token (BCE) led the group with a 165% increase, with its offer price rising to US$0.09969 and trading volume exceeding US$1.02 million. Metadium (META) followed closely, gaining 158.4% to $0.01979, but its daily trading volume was only $288,883.
Prologue (PROLOGUE) rose 79.4% to $0.01873 as market activity brought in $9.23 million in trading volume. Meanwhile, Lil 'Shrub (SHRUB) rose 61.1% to $0.01807, with trading volume exceeding $5.2 million.
Useless Coin (USELESS) rose 59.5% to US$0.2421, attracting US$202.39 million in trading volume, making it the most liquid target on the listing gainer list. Also, Would (WOULD) rose 49.3% to US$0.07295, but its trading volume was relatively limited at US$157,977.
Onyxcoin (XCN) rose 39.5% to $0.004548, with trading volume reaching $31.74 million. Hookr.fun (HOOKR) rose 37.4% to $0.01808, generating approximately $7.02 million in trading activity. Basecat (BASECAT) completed the round with a 26.7% increase, with a bid price of US$0.04881 and trading volume of US$28.87 million.
To sum up, although small tokens generate stronger percentage returns, mainstream cryptocurrencies generally maintain deeper liquidity and larger market valuations.
