XRP XRP falls below $1.50:$18 million ETF inflows failed to stop selling
On Thursday, XRP prices fell below $1.50, quickly giving up gains earlier in the week. Previously, the token once exceeded the US$1.60 mark, but then encountered profit-taking selling pressure. Although U.S. -listed spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continue to record strong inflows, XRP price movements remain under pressure.
Resistance near $1.60
Analysts had previously warned that XRP's rally towards $1.60 would face significant selling pressure. Cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez pointed out that this area is the main resistance level, and on-chain data shows the existence of a cost-base cluster-that is, an area where approximately 2.5 billion XRPs have previously changed hands and many holders may consider cashing out for profit.
Martinez emphasized that the region is crucial to assessing the sustainability of the XRP rebound. If the upward momentum weakens, traders may choose to sell or reduce their positions. Although XRP briefly broke through the $1.60 mark and hit about $1.66, it failed to transform previous resistance levels into new support. Once XRP fell back below $1.60, profit-taking accelerated, causing prices to fall quickly.
On-chain distribution data shows that a large number of XRPs are concentrated between US$1.60 and US$1.66, which makes it difficult for buyers to break through this range. Analysts stressed that to confirm that a breakthrough is effective, we must not only have actions to transcend the resistance level, but also need to gain a foothold above that level.
ETF inflows offset by selling pressure
尽管价格下跌，机构对XRP的需求依然稳定。SoSoValue的数据显示，9月23日，美国现货XRP ETF吸引了1804万美元的净流入，前一交易日为2000万美元。其中，Bitwise以1154万美元领跑，富兰克林邓普顿贡献了650万美元。
然而，这种买入力量未能抵消更广泛的获利了结压力。FXStreet分析师John Isige报告称，币安上的XRP储备已增至约26.8亿枚代币，这表明投资者正将代币转移到交易所，以便在高位卖出并锁定利润。

随着突破失败，分析师现在密切关注XRP的低支撑位。FXEmpire的Alejandro Arrieche表示，1.50美元上方的卖压增加可能导致价格回调至1.43美元。Arrieche建议，虽然这种回撤可能是暂时的，但随着宏观环境的变化和市场情绪的低迷，1.43至1.45美元的支撑区间的地位变得尤为重要。
