At approximately 21:44 UTC, Bitget shut down wallet withdrawal services (including signature services) and quarantined inbound and outbound access related to withdrawals. Chen said that this was the first such security incident encountered by the Bitget exchange in its eight years of operation. The recovery plan is phased.
