BTC British Chancellor criticizes Farage's stance on cryptocurrencies
In a speech on Monday, British Chancellor of the Exchequer John Healy criticized Reform Party leader Nigel Farage's pro-Bitcoin stance and compared Farage's economic policies and views on cryptocurrencies with former Prime Minister Elizabeth Trasse.

When talking about the Reform Party's growing popularity, Healy described Farage as "Terrace with a Bitcoin account", taking a reference to Terrace's short and controversial political career during his tenure as prime minister in 2022 due to the release of the controversial mini-budget. Healey added that despite Farage's self-proclaimed populist reputation, his credibility in financial management skills was questionable.

At the same time, censorship surrounding the sources of Farage's crypto funds has also intensified. The Metropolitan Police in London has launched an investigation to verify whether the Reform Party violated rules on overseas donations.
