RLUSD The market value of Ripple's U.S. dollar stablecoin RLUSD hit a record high, but still ranks eighth in the stablecoin list.
According to data tracking from the stablecoin aggregation platform, the U.S. dollar pegged stablecoin RLUSD issued by Ripple has hit a new all-time high in market value. Although its total market value supply ranks eighth among all stablecoins, this milestone marks the token's continued growth since it entered the market at the end of 2024. At the same time, this also highlights the significant gap between RLUSD and dominant stablecoins such as Tether (USDT) and Circle (USDC).
New peak and eighth place reality
RLUSD hit a record high, once again focusing public attention on Ripple's strategic advancement in the crypto-ecosystem stablecoin layer. The token, issued on XRP Ledger and Ethereum Networks, has previously exceeded the US$2 billion total market value mark, and the latest record further continues this growth trajectory. Supply data can be tracked in real time through DeFiLlama's stablecoin dashboard. The data shows that RLUSD has ranked among the top ten in circulation supply.
It should be pointed out that the "eighth place" ranking and the "highest market value in history" are two different measurement dimensions. The rankings reflect the position of RLUSD relative to the total supply of all competitors, and this competitive pool is mainly occupied by Tether's USDT and Circle's USDC, both of which have tens of billions of dollars in circulation. RLUSD hit a new high in absolute terms, indicating that it is in a stage of steady growth, but the gap from the top of the list is still huge.
Why eighth place is still important in the stablecoin competition
