After four weekly purchases since late August, Strategy confirmed that the number of bitcoins it holds has climbed to 848,000. During this period, purchases were suspended in early September, adding a total of 7,552 bitcoins. The most recent purchase was 334 bitcoins for US$28.7 million between October 1 and 4.

MSTR shares closed Friday at $154.34, up 1.89%; at the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at close to $83,600. If Siler's post is related to any new purchase, the confirmation is usually posted within a day or two.

Strategy Chairman signals possible to buy Bitcoin again

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Siler hinted at another possible Bitcoin (BTC) purchase in a social media post on Sunday, continuing the company's weekly purchase disclosure pattern before holding close to 850,000 BTC positions. As of now, no new purchases have been confirmed.

Strategy is the largest enterprise-level Bitcoin holder, and its purchasing behavior has historically relied in part on its ability to sell shares above the value of the net assets it holds. This premium has narrowed significantly since 2024.
