Bitcoin spot ETF suffers significant outflows, Senate cryptocurrency bill stagnation becomes a trigger

As the U.S. Senate reaches a deadlock on key cryptocurrency legislation, Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) ushered in their largest single-day net outflow of funds since late June.

According to Farside, 13 U.S. -listed Bitcoin ETFs recorded net redemptions of $450.4 million on Tuesday, compared with previous inflows of $159.9 million on Monday. This was the largest outflow of funds since June 24, when the Bitcoin ETF lost $469 million due to the sell-off of technology stocks and the spread of risky assets.

Data shows that Fidelity's FBTC ETF suffered the largest outflow, with an amount of US$214.8 million, followed by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, with an outflow of US$161.7 million;Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ETF (GBTC) had an outflow of US$44.1 million; ARK21 Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) had an outflow of US$17.4 million; and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) had an outflow of US$12.4 million.
