Settlement is conducted through Tether's USDT stablecoin. Participants do not need to actually hold U.S. dollars or Brazilian real to open positions.

The platform allows leverage up to 100 times. This allows market participants to manage positions worth up to a hundred times their collateral.

Perpetual futures contracts differ from standard futures in that they have no predetermined expiration date. As long as traders meet margin requirements and process the necessary funding rate payments, positions can be maintained indefinitely.

The availability of contracts depends on Binance's geographical limitations. Participants must also meet the platform's futures trading standards and account verification standards.

Continuous pricing mechanism in the foreign exchange market

Traditional foreign exchange activities operate almost continuously from Monday to Friday. Major trading venues and sources of liquidity usually stop operating on weekends.

Binance has developed a dual pricing framework that allows its USD/BRL products to operate during these closed periods.

During normal foreign exchange trading hours, the exchange stated that the reference price for the contract will be derived from data collected by a weighted selection of external market providers. This method is designed to reflect the actual USD/BRL exchange rate.

Pricing methods change when external money markets close for weekends or holidays. At this time, Binance determines the price based on transaction data in its internal order book.

The platform stated that during these intervals, it will use an exponentially weighted moving average. This approach prioritizes recent trading data while minimizing the impact of temporary fluctuations.
