ARB Arbitrum launches functionSPACE: A new paradigm for building markets on a programmable chain
Arbitrum is introducing a new market-building protocol, functionSPACE, that aims to empower developers to create complex trading markets around measurable results. This expansion provides decentralized applications (DApps) with a way to directly integrate forecasting, forecasting and settlement functions, moving beyond the traditional independent exchange model.
New Economic Primitives are launched on Arbitrum
functionSPACE is positioned as an "Economic Primitive" specifically used to price results based on numerical values. According to the functionSPACE team, developers can seamlessly embed these predictive markets into wallets, DeFi platforms, exchanges and other applications. This integration allows users to interact with the results market in a familiar interface without having to register with a separate trading platform. In addition, functionSPACE's shared liquidity model allows a single market to operate on multiple interfaces, reducing fragmentation and promoting broader participation.
