BTC 参议院在程序性投票中否决《CLARITY法案》

“Stand With Crypto”誓言选举后果
After the vote, Stand With Crypto warned of electoral consequences and said it would include senators 'voting records in its legislator scorecard before the November midterm elections. Executive Director Mason Lynaugh called the result a "failure of leadership," noting that the 67 million Americans who own cryptocurrencies have been waiting for years and urgently need regulatory clarity to safely use, build and invest in digital assets.
The group said its supporters called or e-mailed Congress nearly 50,000 times in August, while organizing local events and publishing opinion articles in newspapers. The campaign targets senators who are in their state districts during congressional recess. "Stand With Crypto" said it has scored senators 'votes and will include those records in its public rating to track lawmakers' positions on cryptocurrency policy. In addition, the group also pointed to its endorsement of current House candidates in preparation for midterm elections.
Given the tight legislative schedule ahead of the November midterm elections, the failure effectively ended the bill's prospects in 2026. Although the defeat was a blow to digital asset advocates, this Congress achieved major victories earlier, when the GENIUS Act received bipartisan approval and became law in 2025.
While executives and investors believe legislation can provide certainty and help attract long-term capital, most members of the industry have accepted the reality that regulatory momentum may need to be built gradually outside Congress.
