XRP 
RLUSD Ripple updates XRP Ledger developer kit to support AI agents using XRP and RLUSD payments via the MPP protocol
Ripple has updated its XRP Ledger (XRPL) developer kit to support artificial intelligence (AI) agents using machine payment protocols (Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) and the Open Wallet Settlement Standard, using XRP and RLUSD to pay for data, calculations and other online services. The agreement was co-written by Stripe and the payment blockchain project Tempo, while the open wallet settlement standard was provided by Open Wallet.
This update provides developers building agent-based services with a simpler way to support XRPL payments without having to first select a specific blockchain before adapting to its payment standards.
New features in the startup kit version 1.1
XRPL AI startup kit version 1.1 introduces two external standards to XRP Ledger. The first is the Machine Payment Protocol (MPP), developed by Stripe and Tempo, and aims to enable HTTP-based machine-to-machine payments. In addition, the suite will also support the Open Wallet Standard (OWS), providing software with a way to share wallets across multiple chains.
Jazzi Cooper, product director at RippleX, said the move aims to make it easier for developers who are building AI proxy services to use XRP and the dollar-linked stablecoin RLUSD issued by Ripple.

MPP 在账本上的支付流程
MPP 遵循一套简化的支付流程：服务方响应请求时返回 HTTP 402 状态码及价格，代理方批准支付后，服务方随即交付所需数据或服务。整个过程无需中间账户或结账页面。
根据 RippleX 的公告，该套件提供两种支付模式：
- 一次性支付：处理 XRP 或账本发行代币的一次性支付，交易在 3 至 5 秒内结算，费用低于 1 美分。
- XRPL 支付通道：AI 代理预先注资开通通道，随后在服务使用过程中发送签名的离线凭证（vouchers）。服务提供方无需调用区块链即可验证这些凭证，并通过单笔链上交易结算累计余额。据开发者博客文章称，这些凭证的签名速率可超过每秒 10 万次。
Ripple 在 USDC 主导市场中的布局
Ripple 此前于 6 月将早期网络支付标准 x402 的支持添加到 XRP 账本中，如今又将其与 MPP 集成。这一策略旨在吸引那些在确定使用区块链之前已选定支付标准的开发者。平台同时支持这两种标准，使 Ripple 能够触达那些先选定支付系统、后选择 XRPL 的应用程序开发者。
然而，Ripple 在争取开发者方面仍面临巨大挑战。Circle 发行的 USDC 仍然是代理支付的首选货币，目前尚不清楚同时支持这两项标准是否足以让 Ripple 在开发者市场份额中获得更大比重。
此外，该软件仍处于测试阶段，Ripple 尚未公布任何采用 MPP 集成的商业客户，也未披露由此产生的具体交易量。
