Cryptocurrency commentator Austin Hilton identified some signs of development that he believes are good signs that could signal positive market sentiment for XRP holders and the crypto market as a whole. In a tweet, Hilton wrote: "This is good news for all cryptocurrency holders (especially XRP holders!)." In the accompanying video, he explains why he is optimistic about recent market developments and regulatory progress.
XRP performs solidly after major market events
Hilton pointed out how the cryptocurrency market performs after multiple major events in a week. At the time he recorded the video, the price of XRP rose by about 1%, while the overall market rose by about 2%. Currently, XRP is trading at $1.40, an increase of 8.35% in the past 24 hours. He also noted that assets such as Solana, Zcash and Hyperliquid also rose, and the prices of several major cryptocurrencies rose.
The commentator focused on the market's reaction to the setback of the CLARITY Act, the Federal Reserve's interest rate increase, and the Bank of Japan's interest rate increase. Hilton said the events could have put huge pressure on the market, but Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, XRP and Solana all avoided significant declines.
