Following币安对Circle进行1亿美元战略投资，深化USDC全球布局
9月22日，Circle Internet Group（纽约证券交易所代码：CRCL）与币安（Binance）联合宣布，这家全球最大的加密货币交易所将对稳定币发行商Circle进行1亿美元的战略股权投资。同时，双方签署了一项为期五年的新协议，旨在扩大美元稳定币USDC在新兴市场的覆盖面。此举标志着世界最大加密交易平台与最大受监管美元稳定币发行商之间多年合作关系的进一步延伸。
1亿美元投资的运作机制
币安通过私募方式认购了Circle A类普通股，交易价格较收盘前的市场价格享有5%的折扣。根据协议，币安承诺自交割日起最长两年内不得转让所持股份，除非符合惯例例外情况。两家公司将此次安排描述为战略合作伙伴关系的扩展，而非一次性的资本注入。
五年计划推动USDC增长
根据新的商业协议，币安将加速在其平台上推广、提高认知度并整合USDC，特别是在新兴市场。与此同时，Circle将提供支持持有和使用该稳定币的基础设施服务。Circle将USDC定位为扩大美元获取渠道、支持储蓄和投资产品的一种方式。此前，这两家公司曾联手推动USDC在全球范围内的采用。

Richard Teng, co-CEO of Binance, said: "Circle has earned its status as the world's most trusted issuer with its outstanding performance in the U.S. stablecoin USDC, the Arc platform and the infrastructure that reshapes cross-border value flows. Our US$100 million investment and five-year commitment represent firm confidence in long-term development."
Jeremy Allaire, co-founder and CEO of Circle, pointed out that the two companies "see a huge opportunity to use USDC to expand access to dollars, support savings and investment through innovative digital asset products, and reach people and businesses in emerging markets around the world."
Analysis of transaction significance
This cooperation will serve Binance, which serves more than 300 million users in more than 100 countries around the world, and is closely integrated with USDC issuer Circle. Circle calls USDC the world's largest stablecoin network, with its core relying on the Circle payment network and the Arc enterprise-level blockchain. The agreement continues Circle's efforts to expand USDC distribution, including localized releases at major trading venues. Both companies emphasized that it was a long-term investment and was strengthened through a two-year share lock-up period and a five-year commercial agreement.
