XRP Cardano joins the x402 payment standard through official SDK integration
Cardano has officially joined the x402 payment standard through official SDK integration. This move allows applications and artificial intelligence (AI) agents to use ADA or Cardano native tokens to pay for API calls and other online services. This upgrade puts Cardano Networks in the emerging automated Internet payments market, along with Solana and XRP Ledger. At the same time, ADA prices rose by about 6% in 24 hours.
Empowering x402 support for AI proxy payments
The Cardano Foundation announced on September 21 that x402 integration is now available through npm. This provides developers with a way to build applications and AI proxies that enable them to send and receive ADA or Cardano native tokens over HTTP.
This integration makes Cardano part of the official x402 SDK. This feature allows applications or agents to pay directly for API requests without creating an account, obtaining API keys, or using a checkout page.
According to the foundation, Cardano's specifications were merged in June this year. Subsequently, its engineers developed client, server, and coordinator components. After working with the Masumi Network team, they also added Masumi as a transfer method and completed a three-month review.
Developers can install the package by running npm install@x402/cardano. The demo program and coordinator are both open source projects, TypeScript is the first supported language, and support plans for Python are also in the pipeline.

随着 x402 应用的扩展，ADA 价格攀升
Cardano 加入 x402 阵营紧随 Ripple 之后。今年 7 月，Ripple 加入了由 Linux 基金会主办的 x402 基金会，其他参与该协议的公司还包括 Coinbase 和 Circle。XRP Ledger 已支持 x402，允许使用 XRP 和 RLUSD 进行代理交易。
然而，分析师 Jamie Coutts 在 8 月曾指出，x402 的结算量从年初至当时下降了 93%，尽管自动化支付的基础设施仍在持续开发中，但其七日平均结算量已降至约 41,800 美元。
但在撰写本文时，x402 网站报告称，过去 30 天内共有 7541 万笔交易，交易量达 2424 万美元，涉及 94,060 名买家和 22,000 名卖家。
与此同时，ADA 的交易价格约为 0.24 美元，24 小时内上涨近 6%，过去七天内涨幅超过 20%。随着更广泛的加密货币市场转绿，包括 XRP（上涨 6.8%）、SOL（上涨 4.9%）和 DOGE（上涨 13.5%）在内的多种主流山寨币均录得显著涨幅。
