On August 29, Bitcoin experienced a kimchi premium of 0.66% in South Korea

As of 12:00 midnight Korean Standard Time on August 29, Bitcoin's quoted price on the South Korean Upbit Exchange was 110.59 million won, down 0.37% from the previous trading day. On the global trading platform Binhang, the Korean won equivalent price of Bitcoin is 109.87 million won, and there is a price difference of 720,000 won between the two, and the corresponding kimchi premium rate is 0.66%.

Ethereum, the main altcoin, has a kimchi premium rate of 0.61%. Premium transactions are also common in other major altcoins. Among them, Solana's premium rate is 0.74%, Ripple's premium rate is 0.74%, Dogecoin's is 0.81%, and Sui's is 0.87%. Currently, the kimchi premium rate for most mainstream altcoins remains within the range of 0.6% to 0.8%.
