The Ethereum ETF inflow in a single day is US$226 million, close to the level of Bitcoin, and institutional demand is attracting attention.
It is reported that the Ethereum ETF attracted US$226 million in capital inflows in a single day, almost the same as Bitcoin's inflow, which has renewed the market's focus on the demand of institutions with regulated ETH exposure. Traders from Jakarta to Singapore are watching the signal closely.
Ethereum ETF has a single-day inflow of US$226 million
According to daily traffic data tracked by the Ethereum ETF traffic page, the spot Ethereum ETF recorded a net inflow of approximately US$226 million in one trading day. This figure reflects capital inflows into regulated spot ETH products rather than a general rise in the Ethereum spot market. Readers should regard this data as a provisional value. The basic research in this report has only been partially verified, and the traffic data has not been cross-confirmed with the second independent dataset. Spot ETF flows are revised as issuers report final data, so single-day data may change.
The regional context is important here. Thailand has taken the lead in formalizing such assets, and the country's Securities and Exchange Commission is drafting rules for spot bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, giving Southeast Asian investors close access to products that were previously mainly in the U.S. market.
Why Bitcoin comparisons are important
Bitcoin is the benchmark in ETF traffic reporting because the spot Bitcoin ETF was first launched and still manages the largest pool of regulated crypto capital to this day. When Ethereum products approach the daily inflow of Bitcoin, it suggests that demand for ETH exposure is expanding rather than being confined to the shadow of Bitcoin. The key word is "close". Ethereum is close to but not significantly exceeding the daily total of Bitcoin, so this is a narrowing of the gap rather than a reversal. ETF inflows only indicate that more money entered these funds than flowed out that day, reflecting net buying interest from investment institutions and advisers using these instruments.
This trend is not new. The ETH fund recently had an inflow of US$713 million in a week, closing the gap with the Bitcoin ETF; while the spot Bitcoin product itself also continued to absorb funds, with a net inflow of US$1.918 billion in the most recent week. Interpretation should be cautious because the sources behind the current single-day data are incomplete.
What needs to be paid attention to in the future for the inflow of US$226 million
The first focus is sustainability. A single strong trading session in itself doesn't say much; continuous inflows for several days carry more weight than a single peak. Daily Ethereum tracking data is the key to seeing whether this momentum can be maintained. The second signal is the Bitcoin gap. If ETH funds continue to close the gap with the daily total of Bitcoin, then this shift in relative demand makes more sense than any single dollar figure. If Bitcoin re-establishes a significant lead, then this close performance is just an outlier.
Issuers and funds that specifically drive capital inflows should not be named until final data is confirmed. This report does not make predictions on ETH prices or future fund demand because the available evidence is insufficient to support such predictions. For Southeast Asian exchanges and regulators who are developing local ETF frameworks, the practical implications are even more limited: regulated ETH demand does exist and is worth tracking, but one-day data is just a data point, not a trend.
