Continuous records of capital inflows in Ethereum and XRP ETF ended, and Bitcoin funds rebounded

ETF fund flows reverse

Continuous inflows into U.S. -listed spot Ethereum and Ripple exchange-traded funds (ETFs) ended on Wednesday, marking a reversal after continued demand.

Ethereum ETF Fund Outflows

According to SoValue data, the spot Ethereum ETF recorded a net outflow of US$48 million on Wednesday, ending 12 consecutive trading days of capital inflows. During this period, these funds attracted a cumulative $1.62 billion. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) led the decline with a net outflow of $53.4 million, Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) had a net outflow of $26.2 million, and Gray Ethereum Pledged ETF (ETHA) had a net outflow of $23.5 million. BlackRock's pledged Ethereum ETF (ETHB) recorded a net inflow of approximately US$53 million, according to Farside Investors, partially offsetting the outflow.

Ripple ETF Fund Outflows

Spot Ripple ETF also recorded a net outflow of US$7.2 million, ending 11 consecutive trading days of capital inflows. This inflow trend brought in approximately US$170 million, bringing the cumulative net inflow of Ripple ETF to approximately US$1.68 billion.

Bitcoin ETF inflows

Bitcoin ETF reversed, with a net inflow of $101.2 million on Wednesday, compared with a net outflow of $236.5 million the day before.

Cryptocurrency prices fall

The change in the flow of ETF funds occurred at a time when cryptocurrency prices fell. According to CoinGecko data, in the past seven days, Ethereum led the decline, with a drop of 3.4%, followed by Ripple, which fell 2.4% and Bitcoin, which fell 1.3%. As of press time, the prices of these three crypto assets were $2407,$1.36 and $77744 respectively.
