Strong profits and broad revenue portfolio

According to an unaudited report released by the Arbitrum Foundation on September 2, the Arbitrum DAO achieved revenue of US$6.19 million in the first half of 2026.

Revenue comes from four channels: Arbitrum One transaction fees, Timeboost, Arbitrum Extension Program authorization fees, and treasury revenue.

The overall gross profit margin of agreement revenue exceeds 97%, which is higher than more than 90% for the full year of 2025.

In addition to the above revenue, as of June 30, 2026, the DAO also held US$125 million in non-native treasury assets (excluding US $ARB).

Brendan Ma, head of investment strategy at the Arbitrum Foundation, said that these data indicate that Arbitrum's revenue sources have become more diversified in the first half of 2026, and pointed out that demand is driven by the integration of traditional finance and on-chain finance.

Internet activity shows users returning

The Arbitrum Foundation's semi-annual progress report shows that the network processed 478 million transactions between January 1 and June 30, accounting for approximately 18% of its historical total transaction volume of 2.7 billion.

The average monthly stablecoin transfers exceeded US$70 billion, and the number of stablecoin holders increased by 40% to 10.5 million.

Real world assets have also grown significantly, with more than 2000 tokenized assets deployed on Arbitrum, the largest number among similar blockchains.

Between December 2025 and June 2026, open interest in derivatives trading on Arbitrum surged 434%, peaking at US$1.5 billion.

Robinhood Chain's early momentum deserves attention

Robinhood Chain was launched on the Arbitrum technology stack on July 1, 2026, and generated an expansion plan license fee of $360,000 in the first month, accounting for 35% of the DAO's total revenue in July.

The Arbitrum expansion plan requires that chains built based on Arbitrum technology and settled outside of Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova return 10% of net agreement revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem.

Ma said July results showed third-quarter revenue would be more than 40% higher than the second quarter.

On September 1, Robinhood Chain charged a transaction fee of US$3.75 million, setting a single-day high since the main network was launched, allowing this network, which had only been launched for two months, to surpass the Ethereum main network and Coinbase's Base on the same day fee.

According to DeFiLlama, the September 1 performance surge was not an accidental surge, but the network set a new record for the fourth consecutive day.
