South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit announced the launch of Renzo (REZ)

South Korea-based cryptocurrency exchange Upbit announced that it will support Renzo (REZ)'s new trading features. According to the official announcement, REZ will be listed as USDT, and all transactions will be conducted through the Ethereum network.

Upbit said it plans to open REZ recharge and withdrawal operations within 1 hour and 15 minutes after the announcement. The expected start time for the REZ/USDT trading pair is September 10 at 3 p.m. Exchanges remind users that if sufficient liquidity levels are not reached, trading starts may be delayed.

Some temporary restrictions will take effect as the transaction begins. Specifically, buy orders will be restricted for approximately 5 minutes; at the same time, sell orders placed at prices 10% or more higher than the previous closing price will also be restricted during this time period. In addition, order types other than limit orders (such as market orders) will not be supported for approximately 2 hours after the start of the transaction.

Upbit emphasized that users can only recharge and withdraw REZ through the Ethereum network, and recommended that users carefully check the REZ smart contract addresses supported by the exchange before operating.

Renzo is an on-chain asset management protocol designed to allow users to enjoy the benefits of pledge and re-pledge while maintaining asset liquidity. The agreement provides a variety of pledge and re-pledge products, including EigenLayer's ezETH. REZ tokens are used to participate in the governance and re-pledge process of the agreement.
