The $10.85-$10.90 price range represents a historically important area that served as a barrier before LINK broke through upwards in the final days of August. Traders should pay close attention to this area. If LINK can maintain support at these levels, it means that previous resistance has successfully transformed into new bottom support. On the contrary, a decisive break below $10.85 could endanger the bullish structure established by the August breakthrough.
The momentum in recent extreme markets has cooled significantly. The daily RSI indicator currently records around 46, a significant drop from readings above 80 during the August surge. This suggests that overbought pressures have dissipated, although bullish forces have not yet re-established dominance.
$LINK has just captured a major liquidity pool in the US$10.95 - 10.90 range. Technically, this is currently the best response area. Hold the line and we will break through $12.00 again.
Senate vetoes digital asset legislation
On Tuesday, the regulatory outlook became more uncertain as the U.S. Senate failed to obtain the 60-vote threshold needed to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarification Act. The proposed legislation aims to establish a comprehensive federal structure for digital assets and clarify regulatory authority between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
