前期下跌原因分析
Earlier this week, the market pulled back mainly due to two events. First, the Senate refused to advance the Digital Asset Markets Clarification Act on September 15, rejecting the procedural motion by a 49 - 50 vote. Subsequently, the Federal Reserve raised its target interest rate range by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4.0%, the first rate hike since July 2023. The Bank of Japan also followed suit that night, raising its benchmark interest rate to a 31-year high.
Analyst Opinion: US$80,000 is not an easy task
James Butterfill, director of research at CoinShares, said that unless the inflation outlook clearly improves or policy expectations change, it will be difficult for Bitcoin to effectively break through the key resistance level of US$80,000. He pointed out that the central bank's forecast is more important than the rate hike itself, with its forecast showing median policy rates of 4.1% in 2026 and 2027, respectively, higher than previous June forecasts of 3.8% and 3.6%.
Alex Kuptsikevich, chief market analyst at FxPro, predicts that profit-taking ahead of the weekend may delay Bitcoin's impact on the top of the $82,000 range.
Mitchell Askew of Blockware Intelligence took a different view, believing that the market's response to two major bad news was sluggish, indicating that previous selling orders had cleared out.
Fabian Dori, chief investment officer of Sygnum, pointed out that rising yields do not necessarily pose a negative for assets that serve as stores of value.
September Market Review
