BNB Singapore stablecoin payment company dtcpay completes US$25 million Series A financing
Singapore-based stablecoin payment company dtcpay announced on September 18 that it has completed US$25 million Series A financing. The round was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India in April 2026, and Japanese financial group SBI Group joined as a cornerstone investor, investing through its subsidiary SBI Ventures Asset and SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund. Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek also participated in the round.
Investor Details
Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India led dtcpay's Series A financing in April 2026, and the participation of SBI Group anchors the financing amount at US$25 million. SBI deploys capital through two channels-SBI Ventures Asset Pte Ltd and SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund. This structure suggests that this is a strategic bet on stablecoin payments rather than a purely financial investment. Genedant Capital joined the round of financing, co-financing with Kwee Liang Tek, a well-known Singapore business leader and existing investor.
DTcpay's business building
