Today's announcement from the SEC further proves that tokenization is expected to become one of the biggest trends in the capital market. In this revolution, Barron identified SOL as the main winner that could benefit from this trend, and its growth is likely to occur within the Solana network.
Solana's market value may reach US$5.3 trillion by 2031
Against this background, Barron believes that SOL will benefit the most from the growing trend of tokenization. According to his analysis, a higher adoption rate of tokenized stocks will attract more customers, drive transaction volume growth, and stimulate more demand for blockchain.
Currently, Solana's market value is US$63.78 billion. Market forecasts show that as multiple institutions adopt their networks to run tokenized public equity, leveraging their low-cost, rapid processing capabilities, its valuation is expected to reach US$5.3 trillion in 2031.
With the SEC's innovation exemption in place, Barron is confident that many institutions will test and run digital versions of their financial products on-chain. As a result, with cost-effectiveness, fast settlement and a strong customer base, Solana will have an advantage over other competitors such as Ethereum.
Solana has a large user base, which Barron believes will attract institutions to launch new online financial products on the network. As the chain positions itself as the main platform for tokenization, the demand and utility of SOL are expected to expand further.
