Cryptocurrency market dynamics: Whale selling PONS, ZEC huge floating profits, and HYPE token destruction

Although large-scale cryptocurrency transactions (i.e."whale" behavior) continue to attract market attention, significant market trends have emerged recently in three projects: PONS, ZEC and HYPE. A large sell-off from one whale account put downward pressure on the price of PONS; another whale account established a long ZEC position a month ago, and its unrealized profit has reached nearly $10 million. Meanwhile, the Hyperliquid platform destroyed $2.42 million worth of HYPE tokens in the past 24 hours.

PONS: A large sell-off led to a drop in prices.

Chain data shows that after a whale account withdrew from Binance, it sold 2.25 million PONS tokens in exchange for USDG and Ethereum worth approximately US$1.29 million. Affected by this large-scale sell-off, the price of PONS fell by 12% that day.

ZEC: Accurate long gains achieved nearly 10 million US dollars in floating profits

In terms of ZEC, one investor performed particularly well. The investor opened a position about a month ago at an average price of US$517.68, holding 9,810 long positions in ZEC. As the ZEC price rose to $1,534.70, the investor's unrealized profit has reached $9.98 million.

It is worth noting that the same investor also holds 3,550 short positions in Ethereum (ETH), which currently results in unrealized losses of approximately US$2.6 million.
