Fake ETFs have become popular, covering half a decade’s worth of growth in Bitcoin’s development ove

● 要么,该资产在CFTC监管的期货市场有至少6个月交易历史,且交易所与该市场签有监控协议;

02 Solana ETF:

03 XRP ETF:

● Grayscale的GDOG于11月24日上市;

● Bitwise的BWOW已提交8(a)申请,等待自动生效;

According to Kaiko data, the current market depth for Bitcoin is approximately 1% of the total market cap, which amounts to about $535 million. In contrast, the market depth for most altcoins is only a few tens of thousands of dollars. This means that investments of the same magnitude (such as the $105 million invested in Bitwise’s XRP ETF on its first day of operation) would theoretically have a much greater impact on the price of XRP than on BTC.

However, the current “selling pressure” phenomenon obscures this effect. Market makers need to purchase physical tokens during the initial phase of ETF subscriptions. But if market sentiment is negative overall, they may use the futures market to short-sell or use the over-the-counter market to dispose of their inventory, thereby suppressing token prices in the short term.

As the ETF assets continue to grow in size, this passive buying demand will gradually drain the liquidity in the exchange, leading to more volatile and upward-biased price movements in the future.

07 Market Segmentation: A New Valuation System

The introduction of ETFs has exacerbated the liquidity segmentation in the crypto market:

● First-tier assets (ETF-backed): BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE. These assets have legalized access through fiat currencies, and it’s easy for investment advisors and pension funds to allocate funds to them. They can benefit from a “compliance premium” and lower liquidity risks.

● Second-tier assets (non-ETF-backed): Other Layer 1 assets and DeFi tokens. Due to the lack of ETF channels, these assets will continue to rely on retail investors and on-chain liquidity. Their correlation with mainstream assets may decrease, leaving them at risk of being marginalized.

This differentiation will reshape the valuation logic of the entire crypto market, shifting from a speculative-driven approach to a multi-polar valuation system based on regulatory channels and institutional allocation.

By the end of 2025, the wave of Bitcoin ETFs will mark a decisive step forward for crypto assets, moving from being “peripheral investments” to becoming part of the mainstream portfolio strategy.

By cleverly utilizing “universal listing standards” and the 8(a) rule, issuers have managed to break through the SEC’s defenses, allowing controversial assets like Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin to be listed on regulated exchanges.

This not only provides these assets with a compliant funding source, but it also effectively recognizes their status as “non-security” entities at the legal level.

Although there will be short-term pressure to sell off these assets, as institutional investors begin to allocate 1%-5% of their portfolios to these assets, structural capital inflows will inevitably drive up the valuation of these “digital commodities”.

In the next 6-12 months, we will see more assets like Avalanche and Chainlink attempting to follow this path.

In a polarized crypto market, ETFs will become the key dividing line between “core assets” and “peripheral assets”.

For investors, this transformation brings not only opportunities for investment, but also a complete restructuring of the market structure: a market that was once driven by speculation and narrative-driven activities is now evolving towards a new order based on regulatory channels and institutional allocation.

This process is irreversible.
