TRX TRON deploys post-quantum cryptography technology to the test network, ready to meet the challenge of quantum computing
According to TRON founder Justin Sun, TRON (@trondao) has deployed subsequent quantum cryptography technology to the test network. In a post posted on social media platform X on Saturday, Sun Yuchen said the team is closely monitoring the latest developments in quantum computing and artificial intelligence and is ready to introduce quantum-resistant capabilities to the main network.
$TRX is the native token for the network.
Technical details currently deployed by TRON
TRON has enabled post-quantum signature support on the Nile Test Network, providing developers with an experimental environment to test the technology before formal deployment to the main network. The activation follows the passage of Committee Proposal No. 20628, which was approved on July 2, 2026, to enable FN-DSA-512, a post-quantum signature algorithm related to the Falcon family, on the Nile network.
Sun Yuchen also linked this work to the so-called "Q-Day"(the day when quantum computers may crack widely used encryption systems). He pointed out that TRON is expected to become one of the few major blockchains to achieve anti-quantification before the arrival of Q-Day.
The specific date for the main network upgrade has not yet been announced. Previous reports pointed out that Sun Yuchen did not give a timetable for the main online line. Other analysts stressed that a public statement does not mean that the upgrade is ready for immediate deployment. The activation of the test network did not affect the normal operation of TRON's existing main network.

比特币开发者已发布了由 Christine Kim 主导的后量子安全路线图，涵盖了 BIP-360、SHRINCS、Lifeboat 和 Dropkick 等干预措施。开发者的目标是在 2029 年 12 月前，实现数据层、共识层和执行层的全面抗量子化。其中，BIP-360 本身仍在进行中，目前仍是一项草案提案。其 P2MR 输出会将资金承诺到默克尔根（Merkle root），从而减少长期公钥暴露的风险，同时为未来的抗量子签名提供结构基础。
以太坊也于 9 月 9 日发布了其自身的后量子安全框架，同样瞄准在 2029 年 12 月前实现抗量子化。
对于 TRON 而言，此次测试网部署仅是早期技术步骤，而非最终的完整升级。下一个值得关注的里程碑是团队是否会设定主网激活的时间表。
