Crypto Bitlord made an important statement on the X platform after reading a detailed Treasury paper. He told fans that his bullish sentiment on XRP had increased 100 times and that all previous price targets needed to be raised. "A record high for this cycle is the only logical outcome," he added. This is a significant shift for a trader who is already bullish on XRP but has recently expressed doubts.
"After reading this paper, my bullish opinion of Ripple has increased 100 times. Its scale will be far beyond our imagination. All my previous price targets need to be revised. Ripple is the largest holder, so of course they want the price higher. A record high for this cycle is the only logical outcome."
The paper on which Bitlord relied
The post that touched Bitlord came from X Finance Bull, who detailed why XRP and XRP ledgers could become the infrastructure of the new U.S. Treasury market. The argument begins with the U.S. debt problem. Federal government debt has exceeded $40 trillion and buyers continue to need to buy Treasury securities.
X Finance Bull points out that stablecoins are now part of the solution. According to the GENIUS Act, regulated stablecoins must hold assets such as short-term treasury bonds as reserves at a 1:1 ratio. Therefore, as the supply of stablecoins grows, so does the demand for treasury bonds. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant has publicly acknowledged the development.
Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD has qualified for a treasury bond reserve. Bank of New York Mellon serves as the main custodian. This puts RLUSD in the same financial structure that U.S. policymakers actively encourage.
XRPL already holds tokenized treasury bonds
X Finance Bull's views go beyond stablecoins. Tokenized treasury bonds products already exist on the XRP ledger. Ondo Finance launched OUSG on XRPL, providing institutional investors with a channel to invest in short-term U.S. Treasuries. Institutions can use RLUSD to coin and redeem that exposure. Ripple also committed to investing $10 million in OpenEden's tokenized treasury bonds products on XRPL. Guggenheim Treasury Services has Moody's Prime-1 rated digital commercial paper backed by government bonds on the XRPL.
Community Views
Bitlord's reaction reflects the growing sentiment in the XRP community. Several holders said the upside potential is greater than most currently expect. Others pointed out that the combination of RLUSD and tokenized treasury bonds on XRPL constitutes a pattern that has not yet been fully priced in the market. One commentator agreed that the cycle hitting record highs seemed increasingly realistic.
Positioning of XRP
X Finance Bull believes that XRP can serve as a neutral liquidity bridge. For example, Japanese institutions holding yen liquidity can enter RLUSD through XRP and then transfer into tokenized treasury bond exposure. The same path can also be reversed. As more global currencies connect to the system, more liquidity will flow through XRP.
The post argued that as the size of tokenized treasury bonds expands to hundreds of billions of dollars, the dollar value of XRP must rise to support the liquidity load required by market makers and institutions.
