XRP Ledger attracts attention in global finance

France's leading institutional attention list

France tops the list with its deployment of the Eurocentral bank digital currency (EURCV) under a regulatory framework and a major institution coordinating broader tokenization efforts in financial markets. FORGE, owned by Société Générale, has launched EURCV on XRP Ledger. In addition, several institutions in France are collaborating to promote broader tokenization work.

X Finance Bull posted an article on social media platform X linking EURCV to France's broader financial infrastructure. Bpifrance plans to apply EURCV to settlement, payments, treasury management and liquidity operations, but has not yet clearly specified the specific blockchain deployment plan it will use.

The Bank of France, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) and the Ministry of Finance are studying tokenized financial markets. The groups involved in the work include banks, exchanges, custodians and asset management companies, and the scope of work covers deposits, stablecoins, securities and wholesale central bank currencies.

The Pythagore project adds another layer of complexity through the planned tokenization of French short-term debt. Bank of France and Euroclear are working around the NEU-CP market, a settlement system connected to the European system's Pontes wholesale CBDC infrastructure.

Japan builds a direct connection with Singapore

Japan ranks second because SBI Ripple Asia provides more direct evidence. Its proof of concept considers the use of XRP Ledger for tokenized bank deposits. Follow-up work also involves payments and blockchain-based financial services in Japan and South Korea.

The next closely watched development in Japan is the direct participation of banks. Relevant analysis points to tokenized yen deposits, wholesale settlements or foreign exchange activities. Such participation will move applications from infrastructure exploration to practical use at the bank level.

Singapore already has public institutional activities involving the network. Ripple and Unloq are using XRPL and RLUSD to test programmable trade finance settlements. Franklin Templeton and DBS were involved in tokenization funds and related collateral activities.

United Arab Emirates also has a government-linked tokenization project. The Dubai Land Authority has used the ledger to issue tokenized real estate title certificates. The project is gradually being resold to the secondary market and expanded into deeper market functions.

Swift Extended Interoperability Issues

Hong Kong provides another example relevant to regulators through the e-HKD pilot project. Ripple and Fubon Bank are involved in work involving tokenized properties and loans. Ripple then describes the XRPL-related infrastructure involved in this broader solution.

Swift ranks third because of its interoperability ability to connect otherwise separate financial networks. Swift's cooperation with SG-FORGE includes the use of EURCV for tokenized bond settlement. However, the information provided does not claim that XRPL processed this particular transaction.

The United States has demonstrated broader capital market connectivity in terms of digital assets. Institutions such as BNY, Guggenheim, Ondo and Securitize have emerged in areas such as custody, commercial paper and tokenized securities. However, this report does not provide current XRP price data.

Summary

Throughout these markets, the core theme has always focused on institutional infrastructure rather than exchange activities. The report tracks bank currencies, treasury bonds, funds, real estate, securities and settlement systems. Its ranking places France, Japan and Swift-related institutions ahead of other entities, highlighting potential venues for future testing and tokenized finance development.
