FollowingApple releases iPhone 18 Pro series: Equipped with A20 Pro chip and a new AI experience
Apple officially launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at the "Surprise and Shine" conference today. These two new Pro models have undergone significant upgrades in terms of camera, processor, battery performance and artificial intelligence capabilities. Currently, pre-orders will start on September 12, and first deliveries are scheduled to begin on September 18.
Comprehensive renovation of imaging system
The iPhone 18 Pro series is equipped with a new 48-megapixel camera and introduces a variable aperture system composed of six ultra-thin blades. This new design aims to allow users to more accurately control the amount of light entering, thereby significantly improving photographic performance. In addition, the Pro models also introduce a new burgundy color scheme that replaces the orange option in the previous generation.
A20 Pro chip and battery life improvement
Both new machines are equipped with Apple's latest A20 Pro chip and adopt a redesigned steam chamber cooling structure to optimize the heat dissipation efficiency of the device during use. At the same time, Apple has also redesigned the battery system. Official data shows that the iPhone 18 Pro supports up to 36 hours of video playback, while the larger size iPhone 18 Pro Max can achieve up to 45 hours of video playback time.
Siri welcomes a major smart upgrade
Apple also demonstrated a new Siri experience with contextual screen intelligence that can understand the information displayed on a user's screen. With the launch of iOS 27 this month, Siri will initially support English in beta form. Apple said that support in French, Japanese, Korean, Portugal and Spanish will be launched one after another in October this year.
The pre-order channel for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will officially open on September 12, and consumers can start receiving new phones from September 18.
