Strive used SATA preferred stock to finance the purchase of coins
Strive announced on September 14, 2026 that it had purchased 469 bitcoins at an average price of US$77,954, with a total expenditure of US$36.6 million. According to the company's filings filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Strive spent an average of approximately US$79,281 on each purchase of 1,375 bitcoins, with a total position of 24,531 at the time. This new purchase increased the total open position to approximately 25,000 positions. The CEO confirmed that the purchase was fully funded by funds received from Strive's perpetual preferred stock (SATA) issue.
Strive said that the $36.6 million in funding came entirely from SATA sales, highlighting the strong demand among investors for this crypto-asset-backed securities. About 70% of the $109 million in Bitcoin purchases last week came from sales of SATA shares. SATA's nominal outstanding amount is currently close to $1 billion, which means the company can raise large amounts of money with minimal dilution (SATA is traded at a face value of $100).

According to management updates, the latest Bitcoin acquisition raised Strive's so-called "leverage amplification ratio"(debt/equity leverage) to 53.5%.

Strive's common stock, ASST, rose about 3% after trading began, reflecting investors 'recognition of the company's aggressive strategy. ASST shares have performed strongly recently-they have risen more than 100% in the past month and exceeded their previous year-on-year highs of more than $27. Analysts pointed out that every new Bitcoin purchase often causes Strive's share price to rise, as more cryptocurrencies on the balance sheet increase the company's net asset value. CEO Matt Cole even revealed that his ambition is to hold more than 20,000 bitcoins by the end of the year, which would make Strive the second-largest treasury holder of bitcoin after Strategy.

BitcoinTreasuries. NET points out that the company now owns 25,000 bitcoins, making it one of the top 2.5% of listed companies that hold bitcoins. The tracking platform ranks Strive fifth in the "Bitcoin 100" list.

This achievement is particularly eye-catching considering that the company has been listed for less than 12 months. This latest move follows Strive's previous purchase of 1,375 bitcoins, with its holdings reaching 24,531 as of September 4. According to company documents, the average cost per Bitcoin for that purchase was $79,281.
