FollowingBlockchain.com signed a memorandum of understanding with NYSE Group to promote access to tokenized stocks for crypto users
Dallas and New York, September 23, 2026 --Blockchain.com, the world's leading cryptocurrency service provider for retail and institutional users, and NYSE Group, Inc. (NYSE) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), outlining a distribution plan. The plan aims to provide Blockchain.com user groups with access to tokenized versions of New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) listed stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) through the previously announced Digital ATS (Alternative Trading System). Specific implementation requires relevant regulatory approval. This cooperation aims to expand the NYSE's coverage of native crypto investors through Blockchain.com
Accelerate innovation and adoption
As Citi Institute predicts that the base case size of monetized assets will reach US$5.5 trillion in the 2030s, the pace of innovation and adoption of tokenized securities has accelerated significantly in recent years. Tokenized stocks may bring advantages such as fractional ownership, round-the-clock trading away from traditional market opening hours, investment access for investors around the world, and faster and more transparent on-chain settlement.
