Followingstablecoin infrastructure company HIFI completed US$37 million in Series A financing and accelerated expansion of tokenized capital markets
Despite the weak performance of the overall crypto market, the use of stablecoins in payments and cross-border transfers continues to grow. In this context, stablecoin infrastructure company HIFI announced the completion of a US$37 million Series A financing led by Left Lane Capital.
According to blockchain analyst firm Chainalysis, in the past twelve months to June 2026, cross-border stablecoin transactions surged 77.5% to US$220.3 billion, despite the size of the broader crypto market shrinking by more than one-third.
First round of pricing financing and platform scale
Zach Walsh, CEO of HIFI, said in an interview that this Series A financing is the company's first pricing financing, and the company did not disclose the specific valuation. "HIFI handles approximately US$7 billion in annualized transactions through its platform," Walsh noted.
As more payments and financial assets move to blockchain, there is an increasing need for infrastructure connecting these networks with traditional banking systems. Several institutions, including Visa and the Depository Trusts and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), are launching or testing blockchain-based financial infrastructure. HIFI's financing is aimed at supporting infrastructure expansion in this trend.
Deep into the tokenized capital market
HIFI 的基础设施允许客户将美元存入或提取为稳定币，通过美国银行系统和银行卡发送付款，并以美元结算代币化回购协议（Repo）和国债交易的现金部分。
Walsh 表示：“这笔资金将用于扩大 HIFI 的代币化资本市场基础设施，并拓展其更广泛的产品组合，包括稳定币支付产品。”
早在今年 7 月，DTCC 就在多个市场功能中进行了使用代币化证券的生产环境交易，涵盖美国国债和回购结算、股权交易、证券借贷及抵押品工作流。HIFI 与贝莱德（BlackRock）、高盛（Goldman Sachs）和纳斯达克（Nasdaq）等 30 多家机构共同参与了此次试点。这些交易使用了已转换为代币化形式的存托信托公司（DTC）持有的资产。
据悉，DTCC 计划于 10 月推出其代币化服务（Tokenization Service）。
拓展 Visa Direct 卡类支付业务
HIFI 还通过与 Visa Direct 合作，进一步拓展了基于银行卡的支付业务。根据公司官网介绍，其平台允许客户将 USDC 兑换，并将收益发送至全球符合条件的 Visa 借记卡和信用卡。
这一扩张举措与 Visa 报告中提到的稳定币在其支付网络上使用的增长趋势相吻合。9 月 9 日，Visa 表示，在第二季度期间，全球已有超过 160 个与稳定币关联的卡程序上线，通过这些程序的支付量同比增长近 200%。此外，Visa 称其稳定币结算量已达到年化 200 亿美元的运行率，是去年同期的 15 倍以上。
