HONA’s stock price decreased slightly. Honeywell has released a new AI platform.

During trading on Wednesday morning, HONA’s stock price fell by 0.82%, reaching $156.88. The stock price dropped by $1.29 after retreating from above $159. Meanwhile, Honeywell Technology has launched Forge Cognition, an AI platform developed based on NVIDIA and Dell Technologies’ infrastructure. This move expands Honeywell Technology’s automation business portfolio, although Honeywell Aerospace is now operating as an independent company.

Honeywell Technology has partnered with NVIDIA and Dell to launch an AI platform.

Honeywell Technology has introduced Forge Cognition, aiming to improve building management, industrial operations, and equipment maintenance through automated systems. This platform combines digital simulation with AI intelligence to analyze facility conditions and coordinate operational responses. It can also connect existing infrastructure, supporting equipment reliability, energy management, and maintenance planning.

This system helps facility operators identify equipment problems, assess operational conditions, and respond to building management alerts. Its predictive maintenance function analyzes data from HVAC equipment to detect potential risks before major failures occur. Additionally, energy management tools simulate operational adjustments, aiming to find ways to reduce energy consumption without compromising comfort.

Honeywell Technology has developed this platform using NVIDIA’s computing capabilities and Dell’s enterprise-level infrastructure. NVIDIA’s Nemotron model supports automated analysis, while Omniverse tools enable simulation of physical environments. Dell, for its part, contributed PowerEdge servers, data storage systems, and related services through its Dell AI Factory initiative.

Honeywell has announced early results of the Forge Cognition deployment.

Honeywell has begun testing Forge Cognition in various commercial, educational, and industrial facilities. These locations include NVIDIA’s Voyager campus, The Fairmont Dubai Hotel, Singapore’s NEX Shopping Center, and Vanderbilt University. The company is also conducting pilot projects at its facilities in Bangalore and Richardson, Texas.

In NVIDIA’s Voyager campus, this platform has reduced unnecessary operational alerts by up to 90%. Pilot projects have also identified opportunities to reduce energy and utility consumption by up to 10%. Additionally, facility operators have achieved a comfort rating of over 95% within monitored areas.

This platform offers manual, semi-automatic, and autonomous operation modes, allowing facility teams to determine the appropriate level of supervision. When direct intervention is necessary due to operational conditions, operators can also override automatic decision-making processes.

Honeywell Technology plans to expand its deployment capabilities across its existing network of over 300,000 sites.

Honeywell Aerospace was separated into separate entities in June.

On June 29, 2026, Honeywell Aerospace became a separate publicly traded company after separating from Honeywell Technology. The aviation business began to be traded under the HONA code, while Honeywell Technology retained the HON code. The launch of Forge Cognition involved Honeywell Technology, not the direct product portfolio of Honeywell Aerospace.

Honeywell Aerospace focuses on aviation and defense technologies, including systems that support commercial aircraft and military operations. After splitting off, it formed a specialized aerospace company with independent management and business priorities. Meanwhile, Honeywell Technology continues to develop automated solutions for buildings, industrial facilities, and connected infrastructure.

The recent decline in stock prices occurred shortly after Honeywell Aerospace transformed into an independent aerospace and defense supplier. However, there is no direct connection between the launch of Forge Cognition and the financial performance of the HONA platform. Honeywell Technology continues to pursue opportunities in industrial automation through collaborations with NVIDIA and Dell Technologies.
